Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently maintained. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling and register operations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist in food preparation, including assembling orders and managing food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety. Support the team by performing basic kitchen duties, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is welcoming for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous.
