Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager - Restaurant Shift Lead and Sandwich Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a team of food service professionals, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety standards, and foster a positive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop management skills while actively engaging in food preparation and service excellence. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service. Lead and motivate team members, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance performance. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections. Support customer service initiatives by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and interact positively with customers. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant experience is highly preferred; casual dining or fine dining background is a plus.
