Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and become the face of a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment! In this role, you will craft delicious sandwiches, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, welcoming restaurant atmosphere. Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales, demonstrating strong sales and customer service abilities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils regularly to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and managing food handling tasks to support overall restaurant flow. Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards diligently to uphold health regulations and ensure a safe environment for guests. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or other food industry settings is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in food prep and service tasks.
