Duties Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, sanitation practices, and proper food safety procedures. Restock shelves, organize displays, and manage inventory levels to ensure freshness and availability of products. Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing salads or other deli offerings. Weekend rotation will be necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, grocery stores, or retail environments is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills.
