Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our customers. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, preparing delicious sandwiches with precision and care, while efficiently handling sales transactions. Your positive attitude and attention to food safety will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations, change distribution, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food safety management practices such as proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and adhering to health codes. Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and food safety management are essential for success in this role. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and upselling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
