Duties Prepare a variety of deli items, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining fresh product displays Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Restock shelves, organize products, and assist with inventory management to ensure the deli is well-stocked at all times. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or quick service restaurants is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude and good communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in a café, grocery store, or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
