Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and handle cash transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques. Manage food handling responsibilities including portion control, ingredient replenishment, and proper storage practices. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere. Follow all safety procedures related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cashiering and sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Kitchen or café experience is a plus; familiarity with grocery store operations or retail math is beneficial.
