Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces across multiple commercial facilities Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately to ensure safety during all cleaning activities Handle heavy cleaning equipment and supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury Assist with custodial duties such as window washing, floor care, and restroom sanitation to maintain hygiene standards Safely lift and move heavy objects or supplies as required for cleaning or maintenance tasks Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail Strong understanding of manual handling procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes Good communication skills for effective teamwork and adherence to safety instructions Knowledge of custodial best practices and cleaning chemicals for effective sanitation Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and adapt to different work environments This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in active roles that make a tangible difference in everyday environments.
