Deli Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve deli items including sandwiches, salads, and other food products according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and customer transactions efficiently. Assist customers by providing product information, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed in an appealing manner. Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Provide a resume with complete work history for the last 3 years. Position is for various shifts. Qualifications Previous experience in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or similar food handling environment is preferred. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and move items as required for stocking and cleaning duties.
