Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member and become the welcoming face of our esteemed dining establishment. In this lively role, you will create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front of the house. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations via OpenTable, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow and satisfaction Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely service Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all front-of-house areas, including host stand, dining room, and waiting areas Assist with bussing tables, food running, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience with fine dining or nightclubs is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic food handling procedures Experience with reservation management platforms like OpenTable is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Prior host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
