In this role, you'll craft delicious sandwiches with precision and care while providing exceptional customer service. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure quick service, food safety, and a positive experience that keeps customers coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cashiering, and retail operations within a fast-paced, lively setting. Responsibilities Build custom or signature sandwiches and wraps according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation directly in front of guests with an engaging, welcoming attitude. Operate the register, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and answer quick menu questions regarding allergens or modifications. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, give correct change, and manage credit/debit card payments seamlessly. Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours. Support team members by working collaboratively to ensure smooth operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Efficiently manage incoming phone, or third-party delivery orders without disrupting the flow of in-person guests. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within the food industry or retail setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems or cash register. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Excellent communication skills to provide friendly service and upsell menu options confidently.
