This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role centered around sandwich preparation, guest interaction, and keeping our deli running smoothly during daytime service hours. Responsibilities Assist in preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other deli menu items quickly and consistently Interact with customers at the counter, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide a friendly experience Maintain clean and organized prep stations throughout shifts Assist with daily food prep Restock ingredients, packaging, beverages, and front-of-house items as needed Operate the POS system and handle customer transactions accurately Help maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times Work efficiently during busy lunch rushes while maintaining a positive attitude Support the team with opening and daytime operational tasks What We're Looking For Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented personality Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Experience in deli, sandwich shop, café, restaurant, or food service environments preferred Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Attention to cleanliness, food quality, and presentation Basic cash handling and POS experience is a plus Schedule & Availability Primarily daytime shifts Availability during weekday lunch hours is strongly preferred Some weekend availability may be needed Full-time and part-time opportunities available depending on experience and availability. Delivery/Downtown Bike delivery driver position also available.
