Job Description

Community Action Region VI is currently seeking a laborer to work as part of our Weatherization crew improving the energy efficiency of residential homes by performing weatherization tasks. Will work alongside a team to install insulation, seal air leaks, and perform other weatherization measures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform weatherization tasks such as installing insulation, sealing air leaks, and performing energy audits. Use various tools and equipment to perform weatherization tasks. Follow all safety procedures and protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete weatherization projects on time and within budget. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the work performed. Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed. Adhere to the Community Action Code of Ethics and confidentiality policy. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hardworking, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Valid driver's license. Must obtain EPA RRP certification and OSHA training within 6 months of employment. Commitment to the mission of Community Action and serving economically disadvantaged populations. Preference given to candidates with certifications or experience working on weatherization projects.
