Job Description
SUMMARY:
A Quality Control Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing the inspection and testing processes to ensure that products meet regulatory compliance and company specifications. This role involves coordinating with production teams, conducting thorough analyses and implementing corrective actions when necessary. A lead also leads and mentors a team of quality , providing training and support to ensure they are proficient in their roles and responsibilities. This would be a 7-4 position with an hour lunch. Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Plans and implements programs to train all managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials. Prioritizes and plans work activities. Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Provides information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions. Leads the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperates in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations. Compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies. Oversees the administration of workers' compensation program, including working with the insurance carrier to reduce employee lost time. Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display and training. Maintains safety files and records.COMPETENCIES

One year related experience and/or trainingLanguage Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:
