This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced food service environments. You'll be responsible for preparing food, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant space. Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders and transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking ingredients, wrapping sandwiches, and managing inventory levels. Support team members with bussing tables or cleaning as needed to ensure a welcoming environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy late-night shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions; retail math experience is advantageous.
