Duties Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Serve customers with enthusiasm, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and ensure accurate register balancing at shift end Restock shelves, organize displays, and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability Assist with food handling tasks including slicing meats and cheeses, wrapping products, and maintaining proper food storage practices Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry Experience in cashiering, serving customers, or upselling products to enhance sales performance Basic math skills for retail math calculations including change handling and inventory counts Restaurant or retail experience that demonstrates excellent customer service and teamwork abilities Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering quality food and exceptional customer experiences.
