In this energetic role, you'll serve up delicious ice cream treats with a smile, ensuring each customer leaves happy and satisfied. Your quick pace, attention to detail, and passion for food will help maintain a fun, clean, and efficient environment. Whether you're assisting with food preparation or engaging with customers, your positive attitude will make every scoop count! Duties Welcome guests warmly and take their ice cream orders with enthusiasm Scoop and serve ice cream, sorbet, and other frozen treats accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and serving areas in accordance with sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions smoothly Upsell menu items like toppings, cones, or specialty desserts to enhance customer experience Handle cash and credit card payments accurately while providing excellent cashiering service Assist with food handling and food safety procedures to ensure high-quality standards are met Restock supplies regularly and keep the serving area tidy and organized Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed Engage in friendly conversations to promote sales and create a welcoming atmosphere Skills Strong customer service skills with a lively, positive attitude Experience in food preparation, food handling, or the food industry preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to serve customers quickly during busy periods Ability to upsell products confidently to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations in a quick service or fast food environment Previous restaurant or café experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating joyful moments for our guests!
