In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food preparation stations. Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer orders accurately. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. Assist in stocking ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours. Perform bussing duties as necessary to maintain a clean dining area. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
