We operate in Lincoln, the heart of the White Mountains, and we love to live and play here. It's at the center of what we do, and we want to celebrate that with our guests. Fresh Tracks Sandwich Shop is excited to share our creative sandwich menu with the White Mountains community. The Fresh Tracks Evening Prep & Supervisor is a reliable and responsible individual, who can work independently on prep while simultaneously supervising the rest of the crew, ensuring the shop is cleaned and closed down properly. Job duties include basic prep like slicing and dicing veggies, using the slicer to slice meats and cheese, using the food processor to make homemade sauces, and following simple recipes. The job duties also include helping with and supervising clean up and close down of the shop, making sure all equipment and work spaces are clean and set up for the next day. Should any issues arise, the Evening Prep & Supervisor is the go to person for staff to ask questions and to deal with any customer complaints. The Evening Prep & Supervisor will be cross trained and able to jump in on the line or cash register if needed. •This is a tipped position. Pay is $18 per hour, PLUS TIPS. Tips will be split evenly amongst all team members working.•Responsibilities Food prep - slicing, dicing, following recipes. It's all pretty basic. Using the slicer for meat and cheese. Supervising the rest of the crew, ensuring all job duties are met. Collaborating and working together with other crew members. Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Qualifications Food service experience not required. Comfortable leading a team, giving feedback and redirecting when necessary. Ability to follow standard work and be consistent. Willingness to learn new skills, creative problem solving, and collaboration are a must. We're looking for creative minds, eager to tackle whatever's thrown at them, with the freedom to problem solve how they choose. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time. Flexible work schedule, just looking for someone to come in around 4:00pm or 5:00pm, and stay until 8:00 or 9:00pm.
