Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cheese Associate to join our team at C'est Cheese! This role combines customer service, food preparation, and inventory management in a neighborhood specialty market.
Key responsibilities:
Assist guests with product selection of a wide range of domestic and international cheese, meat, and specialty items, including offering samples Cut, weigh, and wrap cheese and meat orders. Prepare grilled cheese orders, including maintaining stock and cleanliness in food preparation areas Build and maintain relationships with new and returning customers Receive and organize product deliveries Maintain product stock, ensuring products are visible and properly labeled/priced Adhere to food-safety standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the shop, including customer and food prep areas
Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time + lift up to ~50lbs Ability to operate equipment such as cash registers, slicers, scales, and panini press Flexible availability for weekends, events, and evenings Strong communication skills Previous experience in specialty stores, restaurants, or retail. Preference for those with experience in cheese and meats!
