WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
Our Bakers are true masters of their crafts. Under this role, you will be responsible for preparing all baked goods, preparing creams, fillings, as well as decorating pastries. The ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience that delivers joy to everyone.
Bake Team Member:
Overnight Shift start time 1am (Required)
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shift start time 1 AM Responsible for frying donuts, using multiple ovens, decorating pastries, shaping dough, and using dough proofers Carrying out operations and production Baking product/General oven usage Panning/Shaping/Proofing doughs Preparing all needed materials and ingredients Responsible for scaling and shaping of all breads, loaves, and pastry doughs Sanitation procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen Overall organization of work stations as well as common areas General knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for daily baking Ensuring work place is safe and hygienic for all employees and guests Receive orders Ability to lift 50lbs Stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner Communicate efficiently with supervisor/management Ingredient/Product inventory Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste Dish washing
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE 1-2
Years experience of Commercial Baking or Pastry Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge Culinary certification or degree preferred Food Handler's Certificate preferred Servsafe preferred Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task Cleaning work stations and common areas Proper 3 compartment sink dish washing Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals The ability to work with diverse teams by being highly empathetic, intuitive, self

Day Shifts available. Start time at 5am Detail oriented Responsible for filling, decorating and producing of all cakes, slices and tarts General knowledge of production methods and organization of Confectionary production Learn new products and skills and has ability to demonstrate proper techniques to new team members Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station Must be able to manage time and skills with strong organization Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of all production Ensure cake display is presentable for internal team members and external customers Make creams and fillings for cakes and tarts Receive orders Store food in designated containers, and storage areas in an organized manner Communicate efficiently with supervisor/management Clean and sanitize refrigerator, freezer and storage, as well as work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE 1
year of food handling experience in a commercial kitchen 1+ years of cake/pastry decorating Portfolio (not required) Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals The ability to work with diverse teams by being highly empathetic, intuitive, self

Compensation Base $16 Plus additonal Pooled Tips Providing excellent customer service to all customers that come into our establishment or mobile order following Paris Baguette's high standard of excellence Check quality of all the products for displays and organize rotation of displays for all pastries and desserts Make cafe beverages on the basis and demand during operating business hours Always keep all areas of the store clean Refill and organize all pastries and beverages on display Work with a high sense of urgency, honesty, integrity, and as efficiently as possible. Assisting guests with any inquiries and educating guests on menu items and any special promotions Operate POS system (Toast)/(Olo) and perform tasks such as cash handling and credit card processing with attention to accuracy learn about our quality products, specialty menu items, and cafe drinks Pay attention to guests and greet guests by smiling and spreading joy! Understanding the guest is the center of it all Answering questions and assisting guests when ordering Knowing how to suggestively sell to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Always happy to help!
