The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system, preferably Aloha POS. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory tracking. Help train new staff members in food preparation techniques and café operations as needed. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred and required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards is beneficial. Experience with customer service roles, particularly in a café or restaurant setting, is highly valued. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling orders and inventory are essential.
