Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, following food safety and sanitation standards Engage with customers in a friendly, helpful manner, offering product recommendations and upselling items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, bussing, and equipment upkeep Manage inventory levels by restocking deli products and monitoring expiration dates Assist with food preparation tasks like slicing meats, cheeses, and other deli items using proper safety procedures Support the team in ensuring quick service during busy hours while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Previous experience in food service, retail grocery, or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes or moving supplies safely Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
