We are seeking reliable and hardworking day laborers to assist with running a Jiu Jitsu tournament at CURE Insurance Arena on May 1-2 2026 (Typically 8:00am - 4:00pm). This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments and being part of live sporting events. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing event spaces with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring every detail is perfect for the big day. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help set the stage for successful events, from concerts and festivals to corporate gatherings and community celebrations. Responsibilities Assist with the timely setup and breakdown of event equipment, furniture, signage, and decorations according to event specifications Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies efficiently to ensure smooth operations Follow safety protocols during all setup activities to maintain a secure work environment Collaborate with team members and event coordinators to execute setup plans accurately and promptly Conduct quality checks on equipment and setups to ensure everything is functioning properly before the event begins Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and work zones throughout the setup process Support other team members as needed to ensure all aspects of event preparation are completed on schedule Skills Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects safely Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy during setup procedures Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or early mornings based on event schedules Basic understanding of event equipment such as tables, chairs, lighting, or audio gear is a plus but not required Willingness to learn new skills quickly in a lively environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain experience in event operations while contributing to memorable occasions.
