Deli/Bakery clerk

Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of deli and bakery items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations Restock shelves, display cases, and bakery counters to ensure products are appealing and available Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Support food handling procedures, including packaging, labeling, and rotating stock to minimize waste Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or quick service restaurants Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Experience in bakery or deli operations is preferred but not required; culinary experience is a plus Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy fuels our success!
