Responsibilities Prepare food items quickly and accurately, following established recipes and safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and handle cash transactions with accuracy. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling where appropriate to boost sales. Support food service operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains tidy and welcoming. Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety. Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Experience Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash, giving correct change, and managing sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Experience working in fast-paced settings like cafés, grocery stores, or restaurants is beneficial. Strong communication skills combined with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
