Overview Join our dynamic team as a Subway Sandwich Artist, where you'll be the face of a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment! In this role, you will craft delicious sandwiches and salads with precision and care, ensuring every guest enjoys a fresh and satisfying experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills while delivering outstanding customer service in a vibrant retail setting. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing Provide friendly, prompt service to customers by taking orders, upselling menu items, and answering questions about ingredients or dietary options Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food handling duties to ensure freshness and quality Uphold food safety management practices including proper sanitation, food handling procedures, and allergen awareness Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or retail setting Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales transactions is advantageous Join us today to become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering fresh food with exceptional service!
