Whether you're slicing meats, assembling fresh ingredients, or ringing up orders, you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming space for our customers to enjoy great food and friendly service. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches and subs with precision and care, ensuring each meets quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling protocols, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas regularly. Support the team during busy hours by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service delivery. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math calculations. Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
