  • $19 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation Attention to detail Organizational skills Stocking Restaurant experience Kitchen stations Full Job Description McCarroll's in Delmar is looking for a line cook/deli clerk in our family's 5th generation deli and market.
We have been around since 1921 and we are known for our customer service and good quality food. We are looking for help to cook our hundreds of breakfast sandwiches daily. This is a fast-paced job. Looking for a handworker who is willing to get along well with others, crank out some breakfast and lunch sandwiches and have fun while you're doing it. Must be available on weekends and 18+! We work hard but laugh a lot!:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and measuring ingredients
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service experience:
  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team settingWe are looking for individuals who are passionate about food and have a strong work ethic.
