In this role, the Wireless Team Member will also represent Verizon's leading wireless solutions, engage directly with customers to understand their mobile needs, and introduce 5G smartphones and Unlimited plans that support student life, commuter routines, and local families. As a Wireless Team Member, you'll begin with sales training in Verizon's 5G solutions, because the best team players are the ones who understand what they're offering. Your role blends consultative sales with sales outreach, helping customers choose their wireless options with the finesse of a seasoned pro. In-person sales consultations are where the Wireless Team Member will shine, turning skepticism into sales and confusion into confidence. Core Functions of the Wireless Team Member Help customers explore Verizon's 5G smartphones and data plans during in-person community outreach or consultations. Match households with the right data plans, trade-ins, and device protection based on their needs and budget. Highlight the perks of Verizon 5G, like faster speeds and reliable coverage, in a way that's easy to grasp. Make wireless decisions easy with a friendly in-person approach that builds trust and confidence. Meet with interested customers to walk them through their options and help them sign up for Verizon. Follow up after activation to ensure they're happy and let them know about any new Verizon upgrades or services. Education & Experience Needed for the Wireless Team Member High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in sales or customer service is a plus, but not mandatory. Preferred Skills for the Wireless Team Member Reliable in keeping records, so sales numbers don't mysteriously vanish. Professional, approachable, and witty; customers buy from humans, not robots. Adapts when Verizon 5G plans change, because surprise is not a sales strategy. Collaborates with sales team members while subtly leading the sales charge.
