Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of concession items, including snacks, beverages, and quick-serve foods with efficiency and accuracy Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process sales quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work areas, equipment, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations Manage food handling responsibilities including stocking supplies, rotating stock, and ensuring proper food storage practices Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and resolving any concerns promptly Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or retail food outlets is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS is highly desirable Strong skills in cash handling, basic math, and retail math for accurate transactions Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Ability to work weekends and event days as needed Prior restaurant or food industry experience will be considered an asset for success in this role Reliable transportation to get to events Join us as an Event Concession Associate to bring energy and enthusiasm to every event while delivering top-notch service.
