Join our Massapequa Uncle Giuseppes team and be part of our busy, customer-focused Deli! As a part-time Deli Clerk youll help customers with deli orders, cold cuts, salads, and answer questions at the Deli Counter.
Key Functions:
Take and fulfill customer deli orders accurately and efficiently. Slice and prepare meats, cheeses, and deli items according to store standards. Make deli salads, sandwiches, and other prepared foods. Maintain clean and organized deli counter, equipment, and work area. Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and quality. Assist with inventory counts, labeling, and packaging as needed. Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and answer questions. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures. Support team members with daily deli operations as needed.
Requirements:
18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent. Experience in a deli, including cutting meats/cheeses and making deli salads. Strong English communication skills. Friendly, customer-focused, and committed to excellent service.
