Manhattan, NY Job Details Part-time $17 - $19 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Employee discount Paid sick time Qualifications Teamwork Catering Simple food item preparation Store opening/closing procedures Attention to detail Full Job Description Fast-growing sandwich company currently looking for candidates who can master the ancient art of sandwich making. Our Sandwich Masters are both know for their attention to detail, as well as for their accuracy and cleanliness. Our kitchens are located in midtown Manhattan and experience a high-volume lunch rush during peak hours. All candidates must be able to move quickly and efficiently and be capable of keeping pace with the rest of the team.
Responsibilities include:
Opening of facility and all work stations. Setting up and fully stocking line for the lunch rush. Planning and prep of all items needed for the current and following days' orders. Ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and timely. Ensuring all inventory is properly stored, labeled, and rotated in their respective storage locations. Ensuring work stations meet all company and city health requirements. Collaboration with General Manager to establish proper daily start times and goals for each work day. Prepping items in afternoon to prepare for following day in a timely manner. Maintaining a clean and sanitized work station at all times. Dishwashing, drying, and storage of all food pans, utensils, and small equipment items. Closing of all work stations including wrapping and storage of all food ingredients. Deep cleaning of facility on a regular basis.

Tuesday -
Thursday Daytime Availability Required:
7:00AM-2:00PM, 10:00AM - 3:00PM, or 11:00AM-4:30PM shifts available (slight variations depending on location)
Extra Shifts:
Ability to grow schedule. Schedules are generally allotted based on performance and reliability.
Extra Hours:
Ability to earn extra hours by starting early on heavy catering days (1-2 hour early start time).
Compensation:
$17.00-$19.00/hr + Tips (roughly $1-$3 per hour on top of hourly rate).
