We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen.Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines
- Assist with menu research and development
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special dietary requirements
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives, fryers and grills
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
