Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Beverage Center Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the beverage center and requires someone who is hardworking, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Open and/or close the store following company procedures Assist with daily store operations and maintain a clean, organized sales floor Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience Assist customers with product selection and carry purchases to customer vehicles when needed Manage and stock inventory, including receiving deliveries and organizing backroom inventory Handle bottle returns and maintain cleanliness of return areas Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely when moving inventory Restock coolers, shelves, and displays Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs Follow all company policies and alcohol/tobacco sales regulations Assist with unloading and moving heavy cases and kegs of beer Qualifications Prior experience working in a beverage center, beer distributor, liquor store, or similar retail environment preferred Experience with alcohol, beer, cider, and tobacco sales required Knowledge of beer and cider products preferred Forklift experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends Ability to lift and move heavy cases and kegs regularly Comfortable working in a physically active environment Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift 40-75 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stock inventory for extended periods Comfortable working in cooler and warehouse environments What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping customers, and can help maintain a well-run, customer-oriented beverage center.
