Responsibilities Prepare a variety of salads using ingredients like tuna, eggs, chicken, and other fresh components with precision and care Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across all products Handle food safely by adhering to proper sanitation, storage, and handling procedures at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation and assembly Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations throughout the shift Assist in packaging salads for distribution or retail display while ensuring quality standards are met Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a positive work environment Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in salad or cold food production within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cutting techniques for vegetables, proteins, and garnishes Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with meal preparation, catering, or large-scale food service is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Kitchen experience involving cooking, serving, or culinary tasks in a commercial setting is preferred Join our team if you're energetic about creating fresh, flavorful salads!
