Front Counter Expectations -Something to remember when you are working up front is that you are responsible for being a part of the face of Lean Kitchen Company. People will see you, recognize you, and you will most likely be remembered for working here. So, anything you do in and outside of this establishment is a representation of Lean Kitchen. Wearing our attire in public, talking about the company, anything can and will have an effect on what people say or think about this establishment. -Being behind the counter takes a minimal amount of work. It is easy, but it's extremely important. People count on you to know your stuff. People count on you to answer any question that they have. People look up to you in this community. Lean Kitchen Company is a very important company to our customers - to each community. Understanding that helping people is our biggest priority is crucial. -Help People. This is one of our 7 Core Values. To our front counter staff, this might be the greatest value of all. It is important for us to help people, love helping people, and most importantly to bring value to each customer's experience. Returning customers are our way of growth. The more they come in, the more of a relationship you grow with these people, and the more they will tell people about us. -Growing a relationship within the walls of our small store is simple. Remembering names, asking each customer how they are, what they've been up to, and how their goals are coming along show that you care. Don't come at it in a fake manner, be genuine, be real, be you. Treating each customer like they're a friend each time they come in will keep them coming back. Most importantly, it will build that trust and reliability to you and our company both. -Working with a purpose. It is easy to come in and sit and play on your phone or on your computer. On a slower day it's hard to find things to do once you finish the morning tasks. One way to keep our store looking clean and organized is by always having the counter tops, microwaves, and tables clean. The small things don't seem important but are the most crucial part of keeping things neat and tidy. If you are unsure of what to do, check the closing sheet, do the tasks there to keep yourself busy. Small tasks will be given to you throughout the week to accomplish so you can stay busy.
