Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounting Team Member and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and ensuring smooth accounting operations. Responsibilities Perform data entry and account analysis to ensure precise recording of financial transactions across multiple platforms. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy. Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger reconciliation to support month-end and year-end closing processes. Manage payroll-related tasks using systems like ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Paychex, ensuring accurate payroll management and compliance. Support compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls by documenting processes and assisting with internal audits. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to maintain financial records efficiently. Skills Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail; familiarity with 10 key typing and double-entry bookkeeping is preferred. Knowledge of account reconciliation techniques including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis. Ability to interpret financial concepts related to accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Strong math skills combined with analytical thinking for credit analysis, budgeting, and financial acumen.
