Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales, and cashiering duties. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth restaurant operations. Support the team in food preparation, serving, and other tasks during busy periods to ensure efficient service. Manage time effectively to meet service goals in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, or retail environments is preferred. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience with food preparation, bussing tables, or kitchen work is advantageous. A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset; previous restaurant or grocery store experience is beneficial but not required.
