- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food quality and safety by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and restock deli items as needed
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent food quality
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations ```Skills```
- Experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
