Job Summary Soccer 5 is hiring a reliable, high energy Team Member for our Charleston location. This role blends field readiness , facility upkeep , and customer experience . The focus is keeping the fields and site looking sharp, running smooth check ins, and helping players have a great experience from start to finish. Part time and full time available. What This Role Really Is This is a hands on, fast paced operations role. You will be on your feet most of the shift, staying active, keeping things clean and organized, and stepping in wherever the day needs you. We want someone who takes pride in high standards and moves with urgency when it gets busy. Key Responsibilities Field Maintenance and Site Readiness Complete field walks and safety checks before opening and before peak hours Keep fields game ready: goals, nets, gates, benches, walkways, and common areas Handle small fixes immediately and report bigger issues right away Keep presentation standards high: fences secured, banners straight, trash removed, areas tidy between games Keep check in and operations supplies stocked and organized Customer Experience and Check In Welcome teams and players and keep check in fast, organized, and friendly Support waivers, rosters, reservation verification, and basic questions Communicate rules and expectations clearly when needed Resolve concerns calmly and professionally and escalate when necessary Daily Operations Support Open and close the facility using checklists and standards Set up and break down equipment for games, leagues, and events Monitor fields during play for basic safety and facility rules Maintain cleanliness and professionalism throughout the entire shift Document incidents clearly and notify management with accurate details Team Collaboration Communicate with teammates and leadership on priorities, field conditions, and customer issues Move with urgency during busy hours and stay productive during slower periods Share ideas that improve customer experience and operational efficiency Requirements Must Have Reliable, punctual, and consistent Strong communication and people skills Comfortable doing hands on work outdoors and being active most of the shift Able to follow standards and checklists without cutting corners Reliable transportation to North Charleston location Nice to Have Customer service experience Facility maintenance or field upkeep experience Basic soccer knowledge Physical and Work Conditions Able to stand and walk for long periods Able to lift, carry, and perform light to moderate manual tasks Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather Schedule and Availability Part time or full time available Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays based on bookings and events What Success Looks Like Fields are clean, safe, and ready before the first game Check in is smooth, fast, and welcoming The site looks professional all shift, not just at opening Issues are caught early and communicated clearly Why Join Soccer 5 Sports focused environment with high standards Team culture built on ownership, effort, and professionalism Growth opportunity for strong performers How to Apply Apply with your resume and a short note on why you are a fit for a hands on operations role at Soccer 5.
