Overview We are seeking energetic and friendly Front of House Team Members to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of KPOT, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and passion for food service will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting smooth restaurant operations. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process payments efficiently Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including hot pot ingredients and Korean BBQ options, to enhance guest experience through upselling and sales techniques Prepare and serve food items following food safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and bussing tables as needed Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations to uphold high sanitation standards Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while delivering excellent customer service Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift). Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
