Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Counter/Food Prep Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for our customers. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently preparing and serving food in a fast-paced setting. Duties Greet customers warmly as they approach the counter, providing friendly and efficient service Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Square POS for order processing and transactions Handle cash and card payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and enhance customer experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met at all times Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS for efficient order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Experience with cashiering, upselling, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store is a plus Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food/c-store industry.
