Job Summary:

The Production Team Member operates equipment, assembles parts, and supports production to build automatic transmissions. This role follows all safety policies and work procedures and promotes quality, and efficiency.

What You Will Do:

Operate machinery and assemble components using standardized procedures to ensure quality. Meet daily production targets based on customer demand. Inspect parts for defects and follow quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with company standards. Accurately record production data and report any equipment or process issues. Work and communicate well with others to keep production running smoothly. Follow company rules and complete other assigned tasks.

A Safety-first mindset that helps maintain a safe work environment. Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule (days and nights) with potential mandatory daily and some Saturday overtime . Consistent on-time attendance and a strong work ethic. Demonstrate a positive attitude, show respect and dignity to all, and a commitment to excellence.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for up to 8-12 hours per shift. Performing repetitive motions such as reaching, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling in compact work areas. Using fine motor skills to grasp and manipulate tools, parts, and equipment. Ability to reach above shoulder level and below the waist as part of daily tasks. Lifting, pushing and carrying up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience in an industrial/manufacturing/production environment is a plus. Math skills-Basic mathematic skills to ensure accurate measurements is a plus. Mechanical-General knowledge of machines, tools and measurement instruments is a plus.
