This role focuses on sandwich preparation, ingredient handling, and inventory rotation while supporting daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble fresh sandwiches using high-quality ingredients Assist with basic bread and baked goods preparation as needed Handle ingredient prep, portioning, and labeling Manage inventory rotation following FIFO standards Assist in preparing weekly inventory needs and ingredient counts Receive, store, and organize kitchen supplies properly Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Support additional kitchen duties as needed during service Skills & Qualifications Experience in sandwich preparation, kitchen assistance, or food service preferred Knowledge of safe operation and handling of commercial slicers for bread and deli meats (ham) Knowledge of food handling, portion control, and inventory rotation Ability to assist with weekly inventory planning and stock counts Proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks Basic customer service skills, including interacting with customers and taking orders when needed Training Available for the right candidate.
