This role is more than supervision—it is a ministry opportunity to walk alongside young people, model a life of faith, and help guide them toward spiritual, emotional, and personal growth. The Direct Care Team member serves as a steady, godly presence in the daily lives of students, offering consistency, accountability, and encouragement within a structured, faith-based environment. Requirements Qualifications A clear testimony of faith and evidence of spiritual maturity Full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement Understanding of Christian discipleship and a heart for mentoring youth At least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED Willingness to complete 30 hours of childcare or related training (provided by NHCA) Commitment to maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided) Able to Pass a Background Check to work with Adolescence Preferred Qualifications College degree Minimum of one year of full-time ministry or relevant life experience in mentoring, discipleship, or youth work Benefits Why New Hope in Kerrville, TX?
