The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities. Handle cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly. Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and food delivery. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations in a quick service & fast-food setting. Must be over the age of 18 to operate machinery Must be able to lift over 50LBS Experience Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within a restaurant or café environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills related to cash handling and retail math is beneficial. Experience working in the food industry, including quick service or fast-food restaurants, will be advantageous. Strong time management skills combined with excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this role.
