Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Team Member. As a member of our front of house staff, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment
• Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions or concerns
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to customers' tables
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them promptly
• Process payments using the POS system or other point-of-sale systems
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Upsell additional items or promotions to increase sales

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
• Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Sales-oriented mindset to promote menu items and increase revenue
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and pricing strategies
• Experience using POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
