Job description:

We are seeking a Cheese Monger/Sandwich Maker/Cashier/Market Associate to become an integral part of our team. You will be the friendly face that enhances the shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, preparing delicious food, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. We are a specialty foods Market and Deli that provides items from Italy, Spain, France, Greece, and more!

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour•Wages listed include supplemental tips

Responsibilities :

Welcome and identify customer needs Learn about and explain cheese/market products to customers Enter and process customer orders Build sandwiches to order Light food prep Cashiering Maintain health code standards

Qualifications :

Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as cafes, quick service restaurants, or grocery stores is preferred but not required Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments requiring quick thinking and adaptability Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers Ability to work well in a team atmosphere where camaraderie is key Perks Include 401(k) + 401(k) matching (Available after 1000 hours and 1 year of employment) Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (must work at least 32 hours per week and is available after 60 days of employment which can be applied for after 30 days of employment) PTO (Available after 1 year of employment for full-time employees) Employee discount (35% off all goods at Caputo's!)
