Job Description
Overview Jon's Joint is looking for strong Back of House team members who can handle a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and food quality. We specialize in fresh smash burgers, loaded fries, chicken, and shakes — and we need people who can move with urgency and attention to detail. Responsibilities Cook burgers, chicken, fries, and other menu items to company standards Operate flat-top grill, fryer, and kitchen equipment safely Prep ingredients including vegetables, sauces, meat, and other station items Maintain speed and organization during busy rushes Set up and stock stations before service Keep kitchen clean and sanitized throughout the shift Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures Communicate effectively with FOH and other kitchen staff Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries Complete opening and closing cleaning tasks Requirements Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong sense of urgency and teamwork Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Must be organized, dependable, and able to multitask Weekend and evening availability preferred What We're Looking For Hard workers who take pride in food quality Team members who stay focused during rushes Clean, organized, and efficient cooks People willing to learn every station in the kitchen Positive attitudes and strong communication skills Perks Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Employee meals/discounts Growth opportunities into leadership positions Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment If you can handle the heat, move with urgency, and care about putting out quality food every time, Jon's Joint wants you on the team.
